Overview
The “ABBIE VISTA" is a semi-custom welded aluminum planing-type pilothouse sedan, manufactured in 2015 by Cold Water Boats of Marysville, Washington. It is a 38' version of what the company describes as the '3900 Pilothouse' model, and is unique in that it is powered by a Cummins 380 HP marine diesel through a more traditional reduction gear and shaft drive. The result is a vessel with a 9.5 knot cruise (which is close to the displacement hull speed), lower fuel burn, and reduced mechanical wear and tear. Overall, vessel shows very little evidence of its 5 years of use. It boasts a yacht-quality interior finish. The owner cruises at 8.5 mph@1750 rpm.
